Locked Can I recover Panel xml file

Ok, I did a dumb thing.? I was editing my logix and before closing, it reminded me to save the configuration before exiting.? So I saved the configuration (only) from the menu on the logix table window.? Then I shut down JMRI without saving the panel!? Now I have an xml file (configuration only) that's 275 KB, and my file from last night which is 1075 KB.? If I need to resort to the older file, I'll lose 3 hours of work!

I tried opening the config only file, then opening the older complete file.? That seemed to work because??I saw all of my work from late last night and the panels were all there.? So I saved to a new file and closed JRMI.? When I attempt to open the new file I get a duplicate key value error.?

Is there anything I can do to make this right?

Thanks,

Bob,

? ? ?Everytime you save a panel JMRI saves the backup file.? I believe the folder is called Backup.

If you were _only_ working on the tables (Logix et al), not panels, you can do:

— Make copies of _everything__

— Load the old file, with panels

— Load the new file, overwriting the older Logix with the newer contents

— Save

— Restart the program, load that file you just saved, check it out for problems.

— Make copies of _everything_ again.
