Locked engine runs by itself when connected to jmri and sprog

I placed an engine on the program track, connected to JRMI and the engine took off on its own.? I am using the SPROG for this purpose.? What is causing this to occur and how can it be fixed?

Jim,

? ? Turn off analog on the loco.

Roger

Jim,

? ? The manual it came with should tell you.? Also DecoderPro will have info on it and you can change it there.

Jim

If you go to Decoder Pro and click on the loco in your roster and then click on basic there is a pane labeled Power Source Conversion.? Change this to NMRA Digital only and then write the change.? That should do it.
