Lost roster upgrading to 5.11.3
#roster
开云体育“I just updated my Decoder pro to 15.1.3 and it wiped my Roster! fortunately I’ve got a backup.” ? JMRI upgrades don’t of their own accord wipe out user files (rosters, etc.).? Something or some action in your environment has caused the roster to appear unavailable to you. Perhaps changing the location of the user files? ? I’ve been installing & upgrading JMRI on a series of computers since 2004 or so.? Have never lost a roster. ? Review the upgrade documents and release notes for the proper steps. ? Best regards, ? In addition to Steve's comments, chances are that your roster index is corrupt. This can be fixed by recreating the index.
In PanelPro, click on Debug in the menu followed by Rebuild Roster. In DecoderPro, click on Actions in the menu followed by Recreate Roster Index. -- Peter Ulvestad Linux Mint 22.1, JMRI 5.11.3plus, Java 21.0.5 JMRI Users Group Moderator ( /g/jmriusers ) JMRI Developers Group Moderator ( ) Tam Valley Group Moderator ( ) Sprog-DCC Group Moderator ( ) Edmonton Model Railroad Association ( ) |
开云体育How did you upgrade? In place overwrite, the normal method, or something else? ?I suspect you’ve just lost the pointer to your data.I just update over the top. Always have, always do, and have never had a problem. ?
