I am working on a simple layout on Panel Pro, using JMRI 5.10 on Linux 24.04. The idea is to learn panel pro features on a simple layout. Here are the questions:

Yves, I recommend that you look at?. That will not answer all of your questions but it will provide a good overview. For item 1, use the "Tools -> Translate (Move) Selection" menu item from the Layout Editor menu. For item 2, use the "Label Text" tool bar item to put any kind of text on the panel. For item 3, use the same block name for the first two blocks and the other block name for the last two. ?Blocks are not associated with the turnouts in the crossover. ?The crossover has one turnout. ?The "supporting" turnout is used to simplify the switch machine wiring. ?One layout I work with uses a single switch machine with a mechanical linkage to set two turnouts. ?Another layout daisy chains two Tortoise switch machine. ?Another approach is to use the same address for two accessory decoders.
