Locked Profiles - can they be application dependent?
Hi all, I have a good many profiles. Some of them are of interest only when I use DecoderPro, others exclusively when I use PanelPro and some are of interest to both. I'd like to limit the number of profiles shown when I start PanelPro by excluding those I use only wih DecoderPro, and vv. And similar for other JMRI entry-points, which I don't use yet - but who knows? Is this an existing feature that I just have not found? A maintenance screen with checkmarks per profile would be ideal, but of course any implementation could be very different from what I happen to look for. The much shorter list of choices would be so much easier to work with. I pick a wrong one quite frequently. Some judicious renaming of profiles might help me, but making a application<->profile map to enable/disable seems so much handier! Wouter |
Wouter, Profiles are always application independent. ? DecoderPro and PanelPro retain the last used profile in their properties file,?DecoderProConfig3.properties and?PanelProConfig2.properties. Thanks, Dave. Pity, though. Do you think that, as a change request, this could have legs? Wouter On Wed, 25 Sept 2024, 16:10 Dave Sand via , <ds=[email protected]> wrote:
