Locked Adding digitrax sound files with JMRI

Is it possible to add or update a Digitrax decoder sound file in JMRI without using a PR3?

AFAIK, you can load sound files to Digitrax decoders using JMRI, BUT it must be using a PR3/4. I don't know if you can using a DCS240

You should be able to do it with one of the newest USB-equippped Digitrax command stations.

The week may start M,T but it always ends WTF.

I'm going to "sort of" combine Peter's and Mick's answers, and add a question for you:

You will need a PR3 or a PR4 or one of the newer Digitrax command stations to download a sound file to a Digitrax decoder.

However, with respect to that download function, all of the above devices function pretty much the same. What is it that you don't like about how your PR3 functions?
