Did you do the update v.3 on the DCs240?

I installed a DCS240 on our Club layout. I did my research on the new system, reading online that the DCS240 used the same drivers as the PR3, so I installed just prior to a week of vacation. the programing track was reading and operating normally, main line was operating normally, on my return fellow club members reported that programing track was not working. I rechecked configuration. all settings were as I had set them, it has done a couple of things, 1) it read each cv then stopped (306) then next cv, same thing. 2) it completely stopped reading (306). fixes uninstall/redo drivers. what does everyone else think
