They have awesome sales on holidays. Here is a list of the places that I know about: (5 star rating with over 10,000 reviews from Yelp) __________________________________________________ Randy B. Re: Reliable sources of used computers.
I have purchased 13" MacBook Pros from OWC (aka macsales.com). They were both mid 2012 non retina. It was a while ago. These are models that allow swapping ram and hard drives. I put 2TB SSD and 16 GB ram in them both, purchased from OWC at various times, when the prices improved. The 2012s are both still running. One in daily use as a main machine, the other as a backup server.

开云体育I generally prefer Apple Refurbished, where I see the price is closer to $1,000+tax. I think the M2 model is about $1,200.However, for a third-party, I would go to Backmarket for its 1-year warranty. Best deal I see there is?.

Reliable sources of used computers.
开云体育The wife suggested that I write to the old friend to whom I was going to give an iPad Air for his birthday. ?Good idea, because while he was most appreciative of the idea, it turns out that, because of back problems, he does most ofhis work in a chair/on a couch so an iPad with a detached keyboard would not work out. The refurbished M-1 MB Airs with 512 GB SSDs on the Apple site ?are about $1,200 while those on the Amazon Renewed site are $828 (and come with a 90-day warrantee). Have any of you readers ever purchased a used/renewed Apple Computer from a third party site like Amazon and, if so, would you recommend that site? Many thanks for any tips.

Have you tried disconnecting the mains and letting it discharge completely? Then reconnect the mains power and see if it charges to anything above zero AG Wednesday, July 26, 2023, 10:07:00 PM, Bob Gerard rowerbob@... wrote: On the Apple Battery meter and on one downloaded from the App Store, the current state of charge is given as 6% and never changes from that figure. |
Re: Power problem
I don't see iPadOS specifically mentioned anywhere after the "in your Mac, iPhone and iPad", but would coconutBattery also work for an iPad connected via USB?

What happens if you remove the laptop battery and run on mains power only? Do the beachballs go away?

Is the battery still charging at all? If not, it might simply be a loose wire somwehere between the mains power input and the battery. I have come to the same conclusion, Ben. His 84th birthday is 31 July; my wife and I decided to surprise him with an?Apple iPad Air (5th Generation): with M1 chip, 10.9-inch Liquid Retina Display, 64GB, Wi-Fi 6. If anyone bothers to read on and has suggestions to make as to cases and keyboards compatible with this model of iPad, I would be grateful to have them. ? He has a bad case of rheumatoid arthritis, so instead of getting the Apple keyboard/case with it’s somewhat cramped dimensions, one of the seniors who attends my Zoom classes told me she got this Logitech one which is just about full sized, connects easily, etc., which she really likes:
