Selecting Icom 7000 Memory Channels

Gene Smith - K7HPF #42601 I'm able to stick the +- dup & fm tone in the memory of the A bank, then name it and save it and I can select a memory channel with the microphone. ? BUT... ? When I want to select different memory channels by depressing the PBT knob and rotating the inner knob, DEPRESSING THE PBT KNOB CHANGES THE MEMORY BANK. ? Am I missing a step? ? Gene - K7HPF ? ?
