Several things... For SSB 10hz is fine enough but at 100HZ not at all good. I've used manpacks and older radios and 100hz does not cut it unless both radios (both yours and the otherguys)

You need to put the RF tuning step at, or below, 100 Hz. That will give you finer control of the "too-high / too-low" sound. I'm not sure how frequency-stable the IC-7000 is, but you shouldn't
