speaker should work. The one you pictured should work fine. I generally hit Goodwill and grab a pair of bookshelf speakers as they work to hold up a shelf as well. Typically around $5 for a pair and they sound great. If they don't have an audio cable with 3.5mm plug on the end at Goodwill, you can usually get them at Walmart.
