For precision, I¡¯ll comment on each individual sentence of your reply. Note that references to TWS also apply to Gateway.

Re: Auto Restart with 2 factor auth
Ok, if you start TWS using IBC once a week, either manually, or via a simple scheduled task (ie no repeats), then setting auto-restart will keep it running for the rest of the week without you needing

Re: IBC -e Error: no execute permission for scripts in /opt/ibc/scripts
Ah yes, the common Linux distributions like Ubuntu (and possibly Mint as well) used to contain xterm ¡®out-of -the-box¡¯, so the User Guide doesn¡¯t explicitly mention installing it.

Re: IBC -e Error: no execute permission for scripts in /opt/ibc/scripts
The .sh scripts are Bash scripts, and need to be run using the Bash shell. The standard shell, shis not Bash, and it doesn¡¯t recognise some Bash syntax.

Hi Richard, as usual, you are the master! You pinpointed the problem exactly. I have tws.exe and tws1.exe in the Jts/1023 folder. I will delete tws1.exe as you suggested.

Re: IBC TWS not auto-logging in after TWS upgrade to 1023
This is almost certainly the same cause as the previous thread ¡°Autorestart issue¡±. It¡¯s because there¡¯s a fault in the StartIBC.bat script that attempts to rename the tws.exe file but omits

I run two instances of TWS on the same machine. Sometimes TWS autorestart works, and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it appears to work, but then (I suspect) TWS is restarted in read-only mode. I

Re: IBC 3.17.0
The short answer is ¡®yes it does work with Gateway 10.23¡¯.
There was a problem with IBC 3.16.2 and Gateway 10.22. This was caused by IB changing the Gateway¡¯s login dialog in such a way that
