Create folders and upload disabled?

A member asked me for information on my LJ-III laminator hack and I'm trying to create a folder and upload in the files section. However, they're disabled, what's up?

Yngve.

Fixed.

For some reason, 开云体育 had it set so only mods could upload or change files, photos, and databases.

Ok, thanks. I'll try again in a while.

I noticed the same thing is true in a few other groups on as well.? And they probably didn't know it either.

Maybe that is the default setting after a group has been moved there from Yahoo?

Or Yahoogroups was being funky that day. Not all Yahoogroups that I moved over, had that happen to them. Some were set the same as they were on Yahoogroups.

Yes that is true.? That is the default when creating a group in groups.io.? It is easily changed but catches most of us admins each time as it is not what we want but is more for a safety factor to make sure someone does slip through the new user net and not flood the group with spam or porn or garbage before we can boot them off the list.

Thank you.

Jim

Hello Steve

I suspect that just means that you saw that default setting when creating the groups.io group and changed it before importing the yahoo group.? The first couple groups I moved caught me on that setting til I figured out what they were doing.? It took a couple members saying they could not create or upload files to look for it for me though.? Now I watch to make sure I change it for the group before letting anyone join or importing from Yahoo.

Thank you.
