Re: USB scope pcb's. compare PCBCAD51 with Kicad
I tried the demo out yesterday on a fast win10 x64 machine. It was a bit
slow in responsiveness. Selecting and moving items was not intuitive, but I
admit
I didn't read the manual either. Drawing

Re: USB scope pcb's. compare PCBCAD51 with Kicad
If these were parts that you made, I can see a number of possibilities.? If they were not, then the main thing may be that the parts were not positioned on the grid properly.? EAGLE will not connect

Re: USB scope pcb's. compare PCBCAD51 with Kicad
What that *sounds* like is that you did not connect to the part properly.
Eagle has a problem with parts that don't have schematic pins on a 0.1 inch grid.? Been there, done that.? Remade the

Hi Rob,
I'd be interested in what you think of PCBCAD51 after you take a

Re: USB scope pcb's. compare PCBCAD51 with Kicad
My needs for electronic circuit design are CAVEMAN simple.
So I was pretty stunned by EAGLE when I went through the motions of picking parts out of the libraries and then drawing the "net" connections

I've used EAGLE for years, but that's version 7.7 for which I have a hobbiest/non-profit license.? It takes a bit of getting used to, and has a quirk or two.? My problem with Kicad is that it has no

Re: USB scope pcb's. compare PCBCAD51 with Kicad
I spent an extremely UNrewarding 3 months learning EAGLE and KiCAD and got tripped up by some glitches.
If PCBCAD51 proves to me to be without those glitches then I would buy it.

If you're up to that kind of thing, I'd suggest an FPGA with a fairly big internal memory and dedicated capture.? SPI interface to registers would work well.? That way, you're not limited to the

Re: USB scope pcb's.
Just sharing my project.
My fastest scope so far is 23 MS/s and just a single channel.
I use Analogue Devices AD9283 which comes in versions up to 100MS/s.

Hi Martin.
I think that this is a general problem with all newer laser printers.
Under the constant pressure to save energy, new toners have been developed that fuse at lower temperatures.
