If the Drawbar sound of the 16? by playing note by note down the keyboard in the lower keyboard start to repeat itself from the above octave, then you are onto the foldback issue.

This is normal, and on some Hammonds you will also find that the 1?drawbar does the same in the upper end.

I assume this is correct though I am a bit confused on the 3 octaves below mentioned. This is not normal.

It is often a mistake made by non-hammond clones and is often forgotten when people try to sample the Hammond sound.
