Parade: 10:30, up Route 1 and onto the UMD Campus Protest Party: 11:00 at McKeldin Mall, University of Maryland Register here: https://www.mobilize.us/nokings/event/793352/ Partnership questions? Contact Laura at usher.laura@... What to volunteer? Contact Sandy at siwewill@... About this Event On June 14, 1775, the Continental Congress created the U.S. Army to stand up against a monarch who claimed absolute power. 250 years later, Donald Trump wants to twist that legacy into a personal celebration of himself. But there are no kings in America! On June 14th, we reject a taxpayer-funded birthday party for a wannabe king; instead we celebrate all Americans, with joy and defiance. We will start with a rally and parade on Route 1 and YOU are the parade! This is an alternative to Trump¡¯s parade in DC so creativity is encouraged! Bring your signs, art-pieces, wagon-drawn floats, and costumes! Be a court jester, Alice in Wonderland (from the upside-down world!) or another notable June birthday. Incorporate Pride or Juneteenth! We will first gather and rally along Route 1 starting at 9:30 to declare that there are NO KINGS in America! The procession (a short 10- 15 minute walk) will begin at 10:30 along the sidewalk before arriving at McKeldin Mall for the protest party!! Indivisible Route 1 Corridor and Indivisible Prince George¡¯s County hope to see you there! A core principle behind all NO KINGS events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values, and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events. All events should be held in public spaces or on public property. Accessibility: Parking Near Parade Assembly: The College Park Downtown Parking Garage on the corner of Knox Road and Yale Avenue is one block from Route 1 and a 4-minute walk to the parade assembly site at Baltimore Avenue and Regents Drive. (Note: Despite it being Flag Day, meters will likely be in effect on Saturday morning.) The parade route is about ? mile along the sidewalk up a slight incline, normally a short 10-15 minute walk. Parking Near the Party: The party will be on the East side of the McKeldin Mall, closest to the Main Administration Building and Regents Drive. The closest Visitor Parking to McKeldin Mall is at Regents Drive Garage and a 7-minute walk to McKeldin Mall. Restrooms: Available in the Adele H Stamp Union building

Fw: [IndivisibleRt1Corridor] Demonstration Thursday starting at 5pm Trump Nation al Golf Course in 5terling, VA #action #events
In case you¡¯re available. John Campanile Greenbelt, Md Begin forwarded message: On Sunday, May 18, 2025, 12:50 PM, Gary Roush via groups.io <gwroush@...> wrote: For the griftest of grifts, Trump is scheduled to "reward" the people who bought the largest amount of his ridiculous "meme coins" at a dinner/reception at his Trump National Golf Course in Sterling, VA this Thursday evening. Many of these people who bought these coins are foreign billionaires seeking to gain access to Trump. The group Our Revolution (founded by Bernie Sanders) is organizing a picket at the entrance to the club at 20391 Lowes Island Boulevard in Sterling beginning at 5 pm onward to about 8 pm (in non-rush hour takes about 50 minutes to drive, strongly suggest car pooling). Bring signs highlighting his corruption and grift. In addition to water/snacks, you may want to pack a lightweight raincoat, as one person I met who has picketed there before said that they sometimes turn their sprinklers on (but the sidewalk is public access). This and the Qatari jet deal are apparently causing even some of his supporters to question Trump's integrity (two words you rarely see together). For parking, there is a residential neighborhood with houses when you turn on Tappahannock, which is the street on the right immediately after the golf course entrance.
