The third edition of our professional short course, , is taking place from 16 to 20 June 2025 at the Institute of Development Studies (IDS), UK.

?

Global health research led by meaningful community engagement and involvement is an ethical and instrumental imperative. The challenge, however, lies in doing this in an authentic and impactful way, navigating the complexities of power dynamics, ethical considerations, and structural inequalities that global health agendas and processes, so that research improves people¡¯s lives by listening and responding to their needs, concerns, and priorities.

IDS is again running its five-day, in-person training course, , from 16 to 20 June 2025. The course is for all researchers and practitioners wanting to develop their understandings, skills and strategies for engaging and involving people and communities in their projects and programmes.

?

The five days provide a unique opportunity for participants to bring their own challenges and experiences to the short course, to exchange and learn from with peers and grow their professional networks.?

Course fee:?
Starting from ?840 per person, with discounts available for group bookings, small nonprofits, IDS and University of Sussex Alumni.?
