Re: KAP Survey - COVID19 Digital Tool
Can I make a plug for folks to:
A. Use similar enough questions across multiple surveys so we can share and reuse data (comparing over time, locations & populations). Comparability & interoperability trumps specificity when doing rapid global analysis, in general.?
B. Share the datasets (after deidentifying). I am happy to share a sample data sharing agreement so that we? keep with informed consent and privacy protections while also using this data quickly.?
C. Use structured systems (csv, xml, SQL, etc.) to store the data - makes it easier for ingestion into other systems.
Is someone building a repository for these data sets and survey questions?

Digital response to COVID-19
Sean's article may be of use at this time, as we try to use distance tech and types of digital data to respond to this crisis.? The following is the core take away, showing how a strong partnership between public health experts and ICT4D experts is required.?
"Ultimately, the primary reason for concern about tech-led surveillance
technologies isn’t the underlying technology — it’s that the way they’re deployed circumvents the quality and human protections embedded in our existing institutional and market structures, which are vital during times of extended emergency.?"

Re: KAP Survey - COVID19 Digital Tool
Hi all
?
If anyone needs a survey/data collection platform to do their research (using something more sophisticated than Google Forms), we are
to assist organisations in their response to COVID-19. Simply create a free account and then activate the COVID-19 Response Toolkit to start creating forms.
?
We are also working on creating form templates that organisations can use and customise for their own needs. For example (just to demonstrate), there is a very basic
. If you are willing to share a survey you have created, please let me know (any format is fine). We will set them up in our platform and share the templates - our forms
are built on the open source XForms standard so they can be downloaded and used with other XForms-compliant data collection platforms if you prefer to use a different tool.
?
Best wishes,
?

Can I make a plug for folks to:
A. Use similar enough questions across multiple surveys so we can share and reuse data (comparing over time, locations & populations). Comparability & interoperability trumps specificity when doing rapid global
analysis, in general.?

Re: KAP Survey - COVID19 Digital Tool
Dear all,
you can use Case.io to provide fillable forms, fill them and export the data. Each one using Case.io can create the forms in MSWord and convert them into fillable forms with Adobe Acrobat DC. These forms will be uploaded and stored on Case.io within protected communities and protected patient cases. Once filled, the data may be exported as csv or xls files.
You may use Case.io also as?"Doctor-to-Doctor case-sharing telemedicine platform".
Please register here for a free of charge use of Case.io
We will provide a full??community with 50GB storage and multi-user management free of charge to doctors/projects/hospitals in need. To get in touch with us, fill out this short?contact?form and describe how you are planning to use Case.io. We will review your application and get back to you as soon as?possible.
