I have installed the software on my WIN10Pro - 64bit machine. Opened up Config and selected ElektorSDR, went to Audio and setup appropriately for my machine, went to I/F and selected Com3 (which is where WIN10 device manager says my genuine Arduino Uno R3 is connected. I click Apply, then OK and CLOSE the radio panel.

When I try to reopen the software, I get a message saying "Another instance is running and will close in 3 seconds." and then that message dialog box closes. I wait. I try to open the software again and get the same message. Many times. If I wait long enough.......... eventually the program will open but when I check under Config, the Com port has been magically reset to Com 1.?

Not very encouraging.... Appreciate any help to resolve this.?

Firstly, Welcome & Thank You for joining the group.

The G8JCFSDR works very well under W10Pro - that is exactly my configuration - without any "tricks".

BUT, try setting the compatibility to Windows 7, and run as Administrator.

Also, is your W10 account a local user or administrator ?
