a portable Elektor SDR Shield HF RX

Hi,, All

I hope I'm not mistaken into this group and I hope I don't divert the core topic in this group.

My previous SDR Shield Elektor project was using G8JCFSDR, HDSDR and PowerSDR software.
My current SDR Shield Elektor project is using some of the PE1NNZ QCX-SSB firmware.
I compiled and uploaded the firmware using the Arduino IDE and Arduino UNO board.
The end goal is to assemble the SDR Shield Elector into a portable TRX that is no longer connected to a PC.

This project is not perfect but:
using a 40 meter band open dipole antenna (10 meters high), I was able to report reception of 59?ElektorSdrShield_test.jpeg
to LSB communication (40 Watt) which is about 1500km from my location.

I will be very grateful if any of you develop and share this project.

Hi Yoyos

That's certainly very interesting !!!

I personally have been experimenting with a Teensy 3.2 - standalone RX done - but not yet TX

Have you a schematic which you could publish ?

Many Thanks & Keep up the good work :-)

Hi Peter

I am very grateful for your attention,
did you open the attachment yesterday?
Sorry I haven't made a better schematic drawing.

I don't understand much about digital signal processing,
besides that the SDR Shield Elektor is very PCB friendly with the Arduino UNO board.

Thanks again for you.

Hi Yoyos

That's a better schematic and picture than yesterday, thank you.

Also I see that you are developing a Receiver only, whereas in the text of the message you had said TRX which I ttook to mean a Transceiver :-)

BTW, have you a recording of the demodulated AF which you could post to let us all hear what the RX sounds like ?

Once again, thank you for posting, really appreciated.
