KENT WEBSITE FOR RADIO AMATEURS
Begin forwarded message: From: "keithlbird@..." <keithlbird@...> Subject: KENT WEBSITE FOR RADIO AMATEURS Date: 24 May 2013 22:58:32 GMT+01:00 Dear club colleagues, I write to inform you of the following online forum http://kent-qrp.boards.net, which has been produced by Patrick M0ZPK for radio amateurs in Kent. Initially Patrick set this website up for those interested in QRP hence the URL name, but following contact from wider interest groups, he is pleased to see the site used for sharing items of interest to all radio amateurs in Kent. The website has great potential for posting information, updates and requests, and it is intended that the website will help clubs share information about what they are up to, and to help all radio amateurs in the county find information from others and help connect those with training requirements. It is hoped that you will share the information about this new forum with your club members and other friends who are amateurs in Kent, and that you will get to use the site soon. Any feedback please to Patrick via the website. 73 Keith - G4JED RSGB Region 12 DRM - Kent

Fw: [g3ymd] Friedrichshafen Hamfest
Forwarded message from Dover club, if anyone's interested contact Peter direct, Been offered to Dover and Hilderstone's clubs first. ----- Original Message ----- From: Peter Sent: 11/01/12 09:36 PM To: g3ymd@... Subject: [g3ymd] Friedrichshafen Hamfest Hi all, I have started to make enquiries for a joint local area Radio Club trip, by coach to the Hamtronic Hamfest in Friedrichshafen Germany, June 28th - 30th 2013, so far I am waiting for a brochure from Sheerings Holidays, and a quote for a 48 seater coach from Buzzlines, the idea was first muted at the Hilderstone Radio Club AGM, that I attended recently, I have now contacted the secretary of the East Kent Radio Club (Herne mill), to see what interest there might be there, the net could be cast even further, I need to get somewhere near 48 persons, to keep the cost as low as possible, It is not essential that interested parties are members of a Radio Club, I envisage that wives and partners would join also, although the event is on for three days, it is not necessary to attend on all of them, there are other places to see and visit on an around Lake Constance, and indeed I with others have taken the fast hydrofoil to Constance in Switzerland for the day, so persons not particularly interested in radio would not be disappointed. I would be interested at this early stage in a show of hands, drop me an email or text 07850464026. 73 Peter G0KOK
