Each February the South Essex Amateur Radio Society runs the Canvey Radio Rally which is now in its 29th year and still attracts a good crowd on the day and is normally fully booked with traders, Visitors tell us it is the first good Rally of the year this side of London.

Canvey Radio Rally
The 29th annual Canvey Radio & Electronics Rally takes place on Sunday, 2nd February 2014.
Once again, the venue for this popular rally will be the Paddocks Community Centre, Long Road, CanveyIsland, Essex. (The Paddocks is situated at the end of the A130).
Doors Open 10:30 am
The features are:
? Major Amateur Radio and Electronic component exhibitors Selling New and S/Hand equipment.
? Freshly made refreshments. (And by popular demand the famous Canvey Radio Rally Bacon Rolls are on the Menu.)
? Free car parking with space outside main doors for disabled visitors.
