As you will have seen from earlier posts we have been collaborating with Hilderstone?ARC in contesting. We are again going to join forces for the 2m Trophy Contest on the 2nd of September at Hope Hill Scout Campsite, Meopham.?

But the RSGB has also simplified the requirements for National Field Day, an entry as described below is eminently possible for us to put on, but only if I have confirmed volunteers willing to put in a shift as operators….
SSB FD - 2nd/3rd September 2017 1300-1300 UTC
Low Power Unassisted Portable : Single transceiver, 100W max. One single element antenna (vertical or dipole) - maximum of two elevated supports not exceeding 15m above ground. Receiving with more than two receivers or receiving while transmitting is not allowed.
So who is up for giving this a go??
An opportunity to potentially work some DX in the small hours or just help gather some points during the daytime!
