Hello friend & fellow radio ops,

We are currently 150miles off the Egyptian coast heading for Alexandria on a bearing of 213 degrees at 12knts. Estimated time of arrival is 5.30pm.? We are currently 3 hours ahead on GMT.
?
Being a ‘sea-day’ most of the time will be spent on the radio. Again I will be operating on 24.960 +/-, 24.906+/-, 21.225 +/-, 21.058 +/- 18.130 +/-? 18.085 +/-?
Do check the reverse beacon network to see what band I am operating on and the last time heard………..I will endeavour to start in CW to trigger the RBN for a particular band.
Yesterday we were in moored off Paphos Cyprus and the most productive band was 15m after 1400 GMT with QSOs into JA & VK.? Before which I was on 12m and had a very shaky CW QSO with Colin G0UJK who was victim of extremely heavy QSB.
?
Today being Sunday I may avoid the main bands due to heavy contest traffic, and work the WRAC bands.
Tomorrow (23/9) there will be no ops as we are in port at Alexandria all day, and due to personal safety reasons we will not be cycling, so we taking an all day tour instead.
?
The next sea day and radio ops will be on Tuesday 24th Sept as we make our way towards Greece.
