Bet this has not been seen for a while!

 

Found this old dx cup in the cupboard?in a box. It was "black as black" and in a real mess.
?I cleaned it up with brasso and here it is in its glory again.?

The Norman Moore cup for dx! The op's on it are G0GQT 92/93, G0UJK 94/95/96, G3JKY 97,G0WLY98/99/2000,G0UJK 2001/02.?

Blimey!. That brings back memories Colin. The year I won that cup all the contacts were on 10 Meters.

Great picture of you with the Norman Moore cup. Looks like you are keeping well. They were good times with the Clifton mob in those days. I was trying to work out who G0WLY was? Anyway keep taking the pills and hope to catch you on the wireless sometime.

Wo...... brings back memories ... the Cup? seems to have been awarded post my time at the Clifton, but yes who could forget Norman and his teapot at 225 New Cross Road, and of course Jakey .?
