G2-Links

 

We have had G2_link and Dplus running on K2BWK for several years.? Something that has been bugging me is that Links don't show up on the G2 page but do on the DPlus page. Is that the way it is supposed to be or do I have something configured wrong.

Hey Steve,

The g2_link dashboard will only show XRF/DCS links since they are the connections handled by the g2_link application, the port 30001 and 30051 connections. The DPLUS Dashboard will only display Linked Gateway Reflectors that are accomplished by the dplus application, the port 20001 connections.

Make sense?

I does make sense however users who are not using the dcs/xrf reflectors show up on the G2 link page but not on the dplus page, shouldn't they show up on both?

Consider how call sign routing works… the dplus calls will only show up in the dplus world on the place they entered the “network”. ?So local RF gateway users will show up only on the dplus site they transmitted directly to. A reflector direct user or someone who came in thru another repeater will not show up on your local gateway dplus dashboard.
