G2-Link Install please?

Fred Joly R D'Avila All Messages By This Member #134 Good Morning All, I’ve recently set up a new Repeater and gateway for Houston, Texas (N5BDJ) on Icom G3 repeater. The gateway is running on AlmaLinux with G3, and I’d like to explore using G2-Link to have new dashboard/Dplus and more important functionality and connect to XLX250. Additionally, we have another repeater running C4FM that I’d like to link to XLX250 through this setup. Could you please provide the necessary files and steps for installation of the G2-Link? I did notice that the form has an email address for AA4RC that seems to be not working. I’ve used robin.cutshaw@... and aa4rc@... in the past. ? Here’s what Rob discovered about the issue, so everyone can follow the if needed: Here is what I found: In my default template file for the mutli dashboard (the index.html file), I referred to dplus-status.html, which clearly is not the default name (I must have changed mine along the way).? The default name, or at least on your system, was just status.html.? ? ?I updated this in the index.html file, and your primary dashboard came back up. The fs.html was not showing up, because that g2_lh command was failing, and not generating it every two minutes as per the cronjob.? After some troubleshooting, I realized your system uses 10.0.0.1 (I beleive the default is 10.0.0.2).? Resolving this was a simple addition to the g2_lh command, which I added in your cronjob which now reads: /2 * * * root /root/g2_link/g2_lh -a 10.0.0.1 -m "ABC" -o /var/www/html/fs.html -b "N5BDJ" -r -t /root/g2_link/g2_lh.tpl N5BDJ As part of the trouble shooting, I did issue commands to connect g2_link to an XLX reflector, and it worked, so it looks like things are well on your system. 73 Fred Joly N5BDJ / PU2TIY toggle quoted message Show quoted text From:[email protected] <[email protected]> on behalf of Terry M.
