Yesterday, it was noted that Sly had sent a message with an
attachment containing a virus. The FT817 Group strips all
attachments automatically so no harm was done to members of this
Group. As Pres said, they can knock on the door, but it is shut tight.
Nevertheless, Sly was put on the banned list until the matter could
be resolved. He was contacted to explain what happened. In short,
he was attacked by another and it passed on. Sly (9M8SL) has been
reinstated to the FT817 Group. His prompt attention to my inquiry
regarding this matter is appreciated.
It is my understanding that Bonnie has now stopped allowing
attachments in HFPACK too.
