Transfer update from Yahoo Groups

I haven’t seen any progress on the transfer from Yahoo Groups. I know the folks at groups.io are very very busy right now, so I guess we are just going to have to be patient.

?

I’d also like to mention that for groups.io there is no way for users who have just signed up to be unmoderated without administrator intervention. I’ll try and keep on top of the moderation – I can update users to be unmoderated in bulk but intervention is required.

It’s because groups.io standard practice is for each user’s first post to be approved by a moderator. Hence a slight delay in publishing first posts from each new member.?

Which seems like a good reason to make a post.
I'm a keen WWFF activator, but unfortunately am still working class, so
my 817 gets sporadic use.
I usually use an amp with the 817, powering them with lithium batteries
for lightweight operation. The current favourite antenna is a linked
dipole bought from Sotabeams.

In the old yahoo site there was a "NEW TOPIC" bubble for generating a new message to the group.? In .io I? this is on the left with "NEW TOPIC" with some other items to choose from.
