Radio Shack 1600mA battery pack 23-331

I was wondering if anyone has charged this battery with the internal charge system in the rig or is it better to use an external charger? What are the charge current rates supplied by the internal charge system? Thanks from the woods of Vermont
David Perry #6437 Yes I have. The charge current is just under 200mA I beleive. I give it 2 charges of ten hours, but two of 8 would also do it. Found no problems at all but I get a good days or day and a halfs Txing fun from these cells.
