I tried all of your combinations , with a and b vfos programmed to different frequencies and or bands and split enabled all of your combinations work fine .

An additional question for the recent '817 expert.
Can you verify half duplex operation on different bands, ie, set transmit
to one band and receive on another band. Specifically, I'd like to know
about satellite operation in the following modes:
K - Tx on 15 meters, receive on 10 meters
T - Tx on 15 meters, receive on 2 meters
A - Tx on 2 meters, receive on 10 meters
B - Tx on 70 cm, receive on 2 meters
J - Tx on 2 meters, receive on 70 cm.
These are all the traditional satellite mode combos that would be possible
with the 817.
