Martyn, I was examining the 18650 battery that I have. 3 of them in a package looks like it could be attached, if not inserted in the compartment. I haven’t looked at the wiring, and don’t know where the 5 wires go. But now that the kit has been ordered, no need to do that. What is the expected 3000 mAh battery run time on a typical SSB 817 @ 5 watts? Nice going on the 3D printed cover.
