FT817 Memory cable

 

Hi all - Im thinking of buying an FT817 and I need a data cable for the memory programming - can anyone recommend the correct one that I need?

You'll want a cable like this:


The Yaesu part wants a 9 pin serial port on the computer:


And a third option is the Blue Max 49 option, he makes great cables, but RT systems cable is lower-priced:

Well Kev I made my own. LDG does not supply that cable.

For a UK seller, I purchased a USB serial CAT cable from Technofix - "FTDI USB Cat & programming cable for Yaesu FT-100 FT-817 FT-857 FT-897 CT-62 equivalent".
