flrig with FT817

Greetings:

?

I am using flrig 1.3.50 running on three radios: Yaesu 991a, FT857D, and FT817ND. On the first two, the program runs flawlessly. However, on the FT817, only a few of the functions are operational: the signal strength indication and the PTT button. The flrig frequency display does not sync with the radio, and the mode button on flrig will not change the transmit mode (AM, FM, etc.) on the radio. Because some of the flrig features are operational, a faulty cable between the computer and radio; or an incorrect communications parameter (such as baud rate) seem highly unlikely.

?

Has anyone seen this issue, and if so, is there a solution? Does anyone have an earlier version of flrig working with the FT817 (in case version 1.3.50 introduced an issue that I have just now identified)?

Does it work correctly with any other control programs?

Mark,

I run Flrig 1.3.51.02 (alpha testing it), and have run all previous versions, with my FT817nd with no problems.? Early on when I first got my FT817nd, I found it "worked" at high baud rates, but was prone to CAT errors.? At 9600 baud, it's rock solid, so that's where I run it.? Set the radio CAT RATE menu (#14) to 9600, then set Flrig to 9600 and try that.

Here is a screen shot of the settings I use on my Linux Mint system:

My serial port is a USB/Serial adapter with a home-brew cable for the CAT interface.

Hi
I have this earlier version (1.3.45) of FLRIG installed on? Windows system. My observation is that this version of FLRIG initialisation appears to complete however the frequency and mode are not being read.??
