I stumbled across the FT-817 Club web page in Japan here :
If you go there and click on the lowest black bar on the left menue it takes
you to a page where apparently members of the club post info. and pics of
their stations. Really cool.... several nice cases, bicycle mobile station,
and some of the strangest vertical antennas.... what IS that think that
looks like the Kremlin's dome with a whip ??? There is also a pic of a nice
battery pack that appears to utilize 10 NiMH or NiCAD AA batteries. Take a
look.... but the site is in Japanese. But I thought the pictures were
really neat.
