Has anybody tried the DCTL Antenna described by N5FC?
() It sounds great - small,
efficient, resonant, and cheap. I've tried several times over the
last few years, most recently yesterday, and never gotten one to work
anywhere near as well as the authors claim. Would like to know if
anyone has had any success.

Nope. A pain to tune, too. I compared a couple of iterations on it to
20m and 30m dipoles zigzagged and crammed into the same spaces where
I was hanging the DCTLs, and the dipoles won easily wrt to both ease
of tuning and rx sensitivity.
