I am going to be in NYC next Sunday PM & at least part of Monday
(vacation). I'm wondering if you can point me at a good (i.e.,
INEXPENSIVE hi hi) electronics store in the area -- I *had* a digital
camera, but the ex got it :( I know, Long Island ain't NYC but I
figure you're close enough! Also maybe a ham store? Our little
local (Universal Radio) shop's range of products in stock to play
with is, well, uninspiring. ONE 706 & ONE Japan Radio is the extent
of the HF rigs they have on display.
Heading on up to Maine for lobster & birdwatching (& portable ops
w/'817 & a dipole, a'course!) afterwards.
