My 8 foot antennas are from my JRC JST10 lunchbox hf transceiver which I purchassed in Japan 15 years ago . they even have a tuned counterpoise , are telescopic and made of stainless .

Although they are convenient for the 817 I find it awkward and nerdy to walk around with .
