Thanks to all for the information.? I did look on the internet and found several keypads.? None of these devices are being made now.? I think I'll look into one of the kinda cheap Chinese import radios with direct frequency input if I can find one.? I'm really only interested in a receiver.? It's a shame to get rid of the 817 but the new sdr radios offer so many more features than the Yaesu.? Progress, I guess.? Thanks again.? Dave
