Hope someone in the group can help. Have a FT817non ND with flashing display. Did all the resets I could find and even did the battery reset mod just in case that was the problem even tho I never did the battery mod or leave the battery in the unit. Had a tech look at it and told me it could be firmware issue. I called Yaesu and they said it's the pll not locking in. Can anyone point me in the right direction to repair it myself. Has anyone had this problem with their radio? All help is very appreciated.?
