What brand and model do the collective suggest for full overlay cabinet door hinges. We are talking the ubiquitous 35mm cup type. Here are the specifications that I think are relevant.
?
The door frames will be 7/8 or 1” thick and 2.25” wide rail/stiles
Cabinet sides will be ?” ply so slightly less than ?”
The doors will have minimal gap 1/8”
Doors on each end will be opening next to the walls, so will like just over 90 deg positive stop, 95 deg? Will add filler strips of appropriate width to allow appropriate door opening
Inside doors have room to open as wide as possible so it can be whatever the standard is, 135 deg?

I prefer Salice Silentia+ - they have the types you are after. ?Catalog is here: ?
?
?
If you need the 3D CAD models you can request them from the USA rep. ?

If I may pile on with a variation of Imran’s question:
?
I am making a toybox for a grandchild, and am looking for a good hinge system. I originally thought of using a 32-mm hinge, like the Blum clip hinges, together with a soft-close stay, but I am not sure that style of hinge will let me extend the edge of the lid half an inch or so beyond the outside edge of the box.
?
I like the 32-mm system as it is tolerant of minor irregularities in mounting the hinges.
?
Other than a piano hinge (no post-install adjustment there!) what should I be looking at?
John, look through the Salice catalog I linked to in the previous post. ?It has diagrams of how all the hinge variations relate to different applications. ?Here is an example of a 155° opening hinge that does what you are after - if I understand your application:
A lot has to do with the door thickness, the amount of swing you need, is it inset, full overlay or half overlay, etc. ?It definitely requires some thinking and planning to get the right hinge and mounting plate figured out for inset doors.
I’m working on a project currently where I needed something similar (if not identical) to what you mentioned. ?Figuring out the right hinge and corresponding mounting plate took a bit of research looking at the diagrams in the catalog. ?This project has extra thick inset doors with a setback. Decided to model up the hinge and posted a video of how it functions in situ at the following link if you are interested. ?Like you, I was specifically concerned about clearances and offsets, etc.?

For the toy box, take a look at the torsion hinge by Rockler. ?I used them on a toy box I made for my granddaughter. ?They have a formula on their website that helps you determine which set of hinges to purchase based on the dimensions and weight of the lid. I went with this because I didn't want any extra hardware on the inside of the box, and I wanted to minimize the chance of crushed fingers on a 3 year old little girl.
?
They don't stop the closing of the lid, but they do slow it down enough to minimize the chance of injury.
?
I tried to include a link, but the computer doesn't want to play nice today.

In case you haven't seen it, there's a great Blum configurator tool that walks, step by step, through the requirements and ends-up with a parts list and drawings.

I appreciate the responses to Imran’s question and to my question about hinges. The configurations and videos were helpful.
?
I think I will wind up with a continuous hinge (piano hinge) and Sugatsune soft-close stays for my toybox. I want a small overhang on the box lid, and I just could not find a Blum or Salice hinge to fit. I am sure there is something that would work, but I cannot find it in the catalogues.
?
The torsion hinge is made for this but protrudes too far beyond the lid.
If your diagram is the back wall and lid overhang, Salice makes a thick door hinge. I think its the F series with a 40mm cup diameter. The full overlay hinge with the max tab (or K value in Salice language) will give you 1.25" of overlay from the inside wall edge.?
These hinges have saved me on numerous jobs where I've made a mistake and need a larger overlay.?
They also just started making this hinge with built in soft close.?
