开云体育What are you using to read the post I sent with the image imbedded that you can’t see? ?An email app (which one?) or a browser (which one?) and what type of machine (Mac, Windows, mobile device?)?David Best - via mobile phone? No image. Logged into mail.yahoo.com with Chrome on a PC. If the native Yahoo web mail doesn't show it, I doubt anything else will. For what it's worth, I've had the best luck on my iPhone. I reply in the iOS mail app (not a reply link in the email), then hold my finger on the screen and select "Insert Photo or Video". Always seems to come through.

开云体育OK, thanks for the replies. ? ?Here’s some preliminary results. When I posted the first message with the imbedded image from my iPhone, and Yahoo blasted it out to FOG, I can see the image in the email sent out when viewed on my iPhone, but I cannot see the image in the same message received on my Mac. ? That means to me the image is there and part of the email coming out from Yahoo, but the iPhone app encoded the image into the message body improperly - only an iPhone can see that kind of posted image, others can not. The second image post originated from my Mac email client, I can see it on the blasted out email from FOG on my Mac, I can see it on the iPhone, and others can see it too. ? ?I conclude from this that the Mac email client successfully encodes images into email messages properly, but the email app on the iPhone does not. ? I have Windows 10 running under Parallels, unfortunately I do not have an email client on that system (I removed Outlook), so I can’t originate an email from my end under Windows. ? If someone with Windows could imbed an image in an Outlook originated email message (embed not attach) to the group, we can test that too. This definitely appears to me to be an email client issue, not a Yahoo Groups issue since it is possible to get images through on postings if they originate from specific email clients. David Best

开云体育If you examine the email source of test #1 by looking at the source on the Yahoo web site, you see the a final comment “non-text portions of this message have been removed” and the image is not represented there. ? If you look at the source for the email sent from Yahoo of that same post, the image is there but it’s not encoded properly - only and iOS device can see the image. ? Here is a snippet from the email source Yahoo pumped out - and the image encoded in the character stream that runs on for hundreds of characters not included here:--Apple-Mail-662ADB68-E47D-4F62-BE2B-72D34B4CEBAF Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable This posting includes one image sent from iPhone using the Share function wi= thin the Photos app, specifying FOG as the email recipient. ?
