KF700SP - Spindle Moulder Training

Hi everyone, a question for the European's (inc UK), does anyone have any recommendations for a training company to provide a specific hands on training for this machine and in general spindle safety set-up, calibration and use?. Either in UK, Ireland or France?.
?
I have recently purchased this machine form FELDER in France, which included a power feed - used machine 2022 model, and keen to exploit more of the spindle tooling and its advantages, but have very limited training and use.
?
Thanks

I don't know if any, but the YouTube videos from Roy Sutton might be a god introduction/self study material. They are old, but much of it still applies.

This should get you on the right track:?https://www.google.com/search?q=youtube+roy+Sutton+spindle+moulder&oq=youtube+roy+Sutton+spindle+moulder

In our country (NL) we also have community workshops, they oftenalso train for specific tools and there safe use, as part of entrance requirements to their workshop. Most of the time you can so follow them to get a basic training. Perhaps you can find something like that??

Kind regards,?

Jonathan?

If going the video route, check out Patrick Molzahn. I think there are 5 or 6 videos on Shaper operation and Safety. I like Roy Sutton¡¯s video as well.?

Hi Colum. Since you mentioned France, I guess you speak french? If so, there is an online course from Samuel Mamias that covers stationary machines. This training covers the saw, shaper, planer, and bandsaw. There is a lot of emphasize on safety measures, and the section on the Shaper is excellent in my opinion. I bought it when I first received my CF741, and got me started safely very quickly. One bonus is he uses all Felder equipment, so you don't have to transpose from another type of machine.

Steven from also has several good video's?

These videos are for specific tasks, but I think they are very well done and I found them very useful. ?
?
Of course, if you are willing to travel internationally, there is always the Alpine workshop for hands on training. ?I personally do not see why the distance has to be a deal breaker. ?

AMS in the UK offers training in the UK at many different levels.
