K 700 s single phase
Hi, I am looking to order a k 700 s this week. |
开云体育Andrew,I have a 3kw kf 700 and ripping and crosscutting to 8/4 has been no problem. ?Crosscutting to 12/4 has been fine too. ?I imagine long rips of 12/4 ?might give it trouble but in two years have found the 3kw to be fine. ? Enjoy your new saw. Michael

开云体育I have an older Kf 700 pro single phase and just ripped 12/4 mahogany board 18 inches wide and 12 feet long. ?Slow the feed when you hear it working hard but the rip blade of 24 teeth works through it. ?I’ve cut thicker stock but not often.Philip Davidson? 开云体育This was a convenient purchase that will cover a pencil post bed and guitar and ukulele necks. ?Philip Davidson? On Mar 3, 2021, at 5:40 PM, David Luckensmeyer <dhluckens@...> wrote:

开云体育Should have no issues, the standard motor on the 2019 k700s that I had seemed to have plenty of power.Regards, Mark On Mar 3, 2021, at 6:49 PM, Philip Davidson <pgdiv4@...> wrote:

I have the single phase KF700 saw since 2005 and have never run out of power.... then again I don't cut anything really huge and hard with it.
It handles 2" White Oak and Walnut just fine. What it can cut and how can depend on the blade used, of course but even with the 'wrong' blade I have enough power. On the other hand, if you go the 3 phase route, you'd open the door to having other 3 phase machines in the future. I'd love to have 3 phase but I don't...%^) |
