Has anyone received a new Format 4 machine with the new touchpad?

I was browsing through the Felder site yesterday (placating me while I wait for the profli 45z x-motion) and I noticed that the touchscreen is updated.

Has anyone received one of these bad boys?

PK. Get in touch with your Felder, you might be able to get it updated, if so, you may have to pay a small fee¡ being Felder.?

When I ordered my L¡¯Invincibile si X last July it was still with the old control panel. 2-3 months after the order was placed they announced the new control panel. I contacted my SCM agent, got a response the next day, free of charge ( I added other accessories) to have it upgraded but just have to wait extra 2-3 months due to COVID delays.?

Albert,

You inspired me from an email exchange a while ago.? I have already emailed Carl to see if it is a running change or not and If I can get it with the new touchscreen.

I am also in no hurry, I hope it isn't too late in the cycle though.

Fingers crossed.

I just received a call from Carl.? According to Felder at the Factory, my profil 45 will come with the new touch panel!

Hopefully we are still on target for the time frame!

I'm jelly!?

Working on on a poor man's retrofit for my saw, with just a small set of functionality. We'll see how it goes!?

Maybe you should start working for Felder!

Looks super cool..

It's not a bad idea!

I visited their factory in Tirol and it was *the best* grown up activity I've done in recent years. Super inspiring to see all their big machines and more interestingly how our machines come to life. It makes you believe (perhaps falsely) that you, too, can make such things...we can and should dream right??

Compared to the Martin WWII tank factory, the Felder production facility is breathtakingly modern. But my guess is that Felder's engineering NIH attitudes would drive you bonkers. They have a proven track record of disinterest in input from the user community.
