#forsale Whitehill 190mm x 30mm bore Limiter Panel Cutter Head and a set of under cutters and limiters for Standard profile #forsale

Hello, I bought two of these heads thinking I would be able to simultaneously cut the over and under profile for some door panels I am making. I currently have a KF700 and the cavity for under profiling is too small for a 190mm head making the second head to cut under useless to me. Cost was 283.50 + import duties and two weeks of it sitting at customs because of all of the new laws and craziness (I had to fill out paper work describing the amount of aluminum and steel and where in the world it was smelt -- craziness). Needless to say I don't want to send it back to Whitehill; Insurance, shipping and potentially more duties.?
?
So the head would just be straight cost even $280 + shipping. I also have the under cutters and limiters for it that cost $102.60 sell for $100 even. The head is designed for over and undercutting but the knives are designed for under cutting only.
?
$380 for all of it but I will sell individually. I am in the Baltimore, Maryland area.

Can¡¯t you put a sub table on your slider race do your profiling above the sliding table?

I considered using a 1" thick Baltic birch for a sub table but I was concerned about excessive vibration with two 190mm heads. As it was I need to take 3 passess on each side to get the best finish from the cutters. A half pass, almost a full pass then 1/16th pass.?
?
Do you have a method for a different more stable type of sub table that would've mitigated that?

Joe, I might suggest relieving the backside of the difference between the sliding table and the caster table or shimming the same.
And it¡¯s a lot of extra trouble, but might be a good idea to laminate the surface with the vanilla or V 32 and of course, bolting it down to the slider with a couple tea nuts or if you have any both holes in the sliding table top that would assure that it doesn¡¯t move back-and-forth And I¡¯m assuming this is a power fed operation. Your methods sound good. It takes a lot of snot to make that one pass. Good luck.
By the way, I feel your pain with international shipping. I have to deal with it now and then in one cannot call it fun!!!?

Don't know if this helps, but I used to do this setup for making tenons. It worked very well stacking two cutter heads with spacers. I used a sacrificial board on the fence to prevent tearouts.

Have you considered an aluminum plate that can be attached with the T-nuts and flat head screws? It could be handy for other operations as well.

I can't believe it is that crazy now. I may take you up on this if you don't keep them. I'm getting started with my shaper tooling.?

I'm definitely selling one of the heads, just let me know.
