AD-41 J/P, Sotps dead in the middle of a planner operation

I am taking a typical light cut (.02" to .025"), planner table is clean ?and waxed, the feed is set to ?slow and it will begin to sound labored and stop dead. Lower the table and start over with the same setting and all is well. My machine is a variable speed version.
imran All Messages By This Member #112808 开云体育 Dino, Are the blades sharp? What happens if you increase the feed rate. Light cuts at very slow feed can dull the blades. If you did not mention labored sound, I would have thought a limit switch or emergency stop circuit going bad. Does the labored sound, sound like electric brake? That is another possibility.
