AD941 - Offloading from pallet

Does anyone know the size of the bolts needed to insert into the bottom of the AD941 in order to use a pallet jack to offload from the shipping pallet down a ramp? I believe there is an image from the owner's manual shared in this form at one point, but I just can't seem to find that reference. And for various reasons...I'm needing to leave the AD941 in its original pallet, still sealed in the plastic...so I can't get to my own manual just quite yet.

Looks like there may be some documentation in the Files section.

congrat's on the new machine....

M10 x 50. You need the bolts and you also need corresponding nuts.

if I recall correctly (and that is a big if) the bolts and nuts came with the machine.

John,

I checked on these bolts and I was told by my sales person who said they verified this with the factory, that the bolts are included. ?I will soon find out, my AD941 arrives on Monday.

Thanks everyone...I missed from earlier posts that the bolts were included. I also have gathered that a 20" - 27" pallet jack (27" being fairly standard for a rental unit - which I will need) will work...and to PULL the unit as shown in this picture down the ramp...not PUSH it. ? Depending on the availability of a neighbor with a skid steer and pallet fork to get this from my garage to walkout basement shop...I hope to unload mine soon.

I just unloaded an AD941 at my shop. I rented a forklift with extended forks of 6'. This made it super easy as both forks can go underneath the frame with no need to use the bolts. You don't need to wrestle the unit off the pallet this way.?

?
I just unloaded my AD941, used PK’s method (narrow pallet jack, ramp, and spotter) worked great. ?

Also , forgot Felder screwed up again! ?They never installed the flip fence for narrow jointing that I ordered as an accessory. ?It’s on the order, just never made it onto the machine These guys!!!

Hello FOG,

I just received the narrow stock flip fence, for my AD941, that was originally supposed to be factory installed. ?It came in a ridiculously, over sized pallet, but hey, at least it made it. ?

I was wondering, if anybody could tell me and/or shoot me pictures of theirs installed? ?It came with hardware, but no instructions what so ever. ?

Here are some attached picture of the fence and hardware.?

Thx,

Wade

Hi Dave Davies,

Thank you for the pics. ?In that first picture you sent, ?it shows those small dark colored flat head screws. ?Those must go into pre-threaded holes on the ends of the main fence? ?So I must have to remove the two plastic end caps to expose these mounting locations.
