Felder/Hammer setup in a small space
Hi , new to the forum and new to owning Felder tools. My shop is pretty small 10’x20’. I actually have more space now than I did with my cabinet saw , jointer and planer. My A3 is missing a couple parts but they should be on their way soon. Made a makeshift cutter head guard , it works until the parts show up. My KF700 was a Craigslist find that came with so many accessories including the Big Squeeze clamps that I absolutely love.? Tyler? |
开云体育Hi Tyler, Welcome to the group. Glad you like them clamps. I had them made in Kokomo, IN. The white base tells me that it is one of the few early ones that did not get my 2 hr manual RO sanding, so may show some milling marks from the AL extrusion process. Not only space saving but hopefully better performance and definitely gained a shaper in process. Imran PS: I created a owners manual for the BS clamps. If you did not get a copy, I can email you one. Probably have no use for it, other than PNs for replacing parts. On Mar 7, 2022, at 7:27 AM, Loneevergreenwoodworks@... wrote:

Well in that case, I guess I’ll have to buy your Tee shirt. ? Maybe I commissioned that machine. ?LOL ? Did I miss it -?where are you located? ?Wisconsin ? ?I see you have a PantoRouter - James Zhu would be proud. ?? David Best |
Thank you David I appreciate that. The guide has definitely come in handy already. I know the saw started it’s life down Arizona. I’m originally from Wisconsin but I live in Tacoma Washington now.?

PantoRouter community is getting bigger. I know a few more folks on FOG bought PantoRouter recently, I am sure they are proud too?? James On Wed, Mar 9, 2022 at 8:45 PM Mark Kessler <mkessler10@...> wrote:

I gotta get my hands on a PantoRouter to reverse engineer it :).?
For a small shop with a slider (which I have as well) the crosscut fence + outrigger is the thing that almost always gets in my way. I don't know if the ?is compatible with your make of fence but it has made a big difference is access to valuable floor space for me.? Welcome to the forum and let us know what you plan to make with this setup!? |
