In looking at the 3D files, I find a DRO version of a fence attachment. I'm trying to redesign it to fit my Kappa 400 fence, but maybe someone else has already done this? The post is on the wrong side for me, it should be on the left with the angle facing me. Is there another file that allows the block to go under the dust hood? Don't need to reinvent the wheel... Thanks Bill Bélanger

Thanks so much David. Nice stuff! What I was looking for was an STL file that I could print in nylon.

I have the STL, but it’s opposite the way you show. Did you by chance mirror image the file at some point? Worst case, tell me how thick and wide the notch you want cut out of it and I’ll do it for you.

Bill, I created a notched version and loaded it on the website. See if that works for you.

Thanks Brian, Yes the picture I show is mirrored and I was hoping someone had the file in the correct orientation.
It's not the original file in the files section, but one that I was starting to correct. Maybe I somehow mirrored it when I imported it? If you have the right one, I would appreciate it. Thanks Bill B

Let us know how it all works out… all the dimensions were off of David’s sketch. I don’t know if the extrusions vary and the distance to the blade is consistent.

Small adjustments needed. I’ll make them then print another and upload it as another file. David’s machine may be a little different than mine. Post fit very snuggly Bill Belanger

For those without a 3D printer, it was extremely easy to make my own from scap wood. Made wooden piece to fit inside the extrusion and attached a piece of Baltic birch plywood to it with two screws. With bottom piece of BB plywood is attached with two screws so it is easily replaceable.?

I was just poking fun about putting your name in it but I can if you really want me to? Do you have a preference of color? I’m actually going to make mine blue. It’s almost done I’ll send you a picture in a few minutes. I’ve been printing the stupid things all day long it seems like one dimension or another has been off all day by tenths of a millimeter?

Excited to see how it comes out.?

Bill,
I am immediately ready to buy one (or two, since I inevitably will sacrifice one in the next few years) from you in whatever color is easy for you.? Blue is great!? So is Format 4's version of silver (RAL 9006)!
Just let me know how to pay!
I would also offer all of the other bribes that others are listing, so just let us know!

Checked out some print sites. Wow!
Anyway, I like the darker blue, or I can do them in black.
$25 each plus shipping. Paypal, cash app, venmo or? a check is fine.
I'll also upload the file to the FOG so you can print them yourself, or someone else can print them. It's called Kappa Fence Extension...
Let me know at my email. Thanks
